what would you do if your live in mate for 2 years placed an online personal ad. in it he said he lived alone when you know he lives with you and your children? is it cheating?

I would be completely insulted. I would say that its cheating or he is on the road to it. It starts from the inside first. The decision to say he lived alone was in my opinion, THE DEFINING MOMENT IN TIME ! I say yes it is cheating.

Yes first of all he is lying and being dishonest and he is sure looking to cheat on you. He has no need of placing a personal ad in the first place. Ask him why he is doing this. See what reason or answer he has for you and ask him if it is ok for you to do this as well. Make him think. If he continues to do this and flirts around and cheats then you need to get out and dump him and move on with your life. He is not worth the pain trust me.

yep. my exboyfriend thought that I was cheating when I was emailing my husband who I met on an online personal service. So I ditched the boyfriend and married the dude I was emailing.
