Don't tell anyone coz it's not ur right to do that. BUT u can convince her to tell someone profesional in this matter (parents, school counsellor, spiritual conselour, etc) since this is really an important matter. She might develop post traumatic stress disorder - a disorder that people might have after having through a traumatic event. Convince her that the rape wasn't her fault and she doesn't have to go through all the pain by herself..
HELP HER, WOULD YOU?

you might want to play this one by ear... there's alot of red tape to cross and this situation holds an enormous amount of grey area. How well do you know this girl? And that shouldn't matter being the offence to her. But this is such a serious situation that many people will fall victom to this one man's wrongs. Or possibly this one girls (possible)false truths. Please don't be offended by my doubt...I am only seeing this from all angles and possibilities o.k.? And this man should be brought to justice for this crime and for stealing away this little girls trust and childhood. I know from my own experiance the pain and horror of a situation like this and she deserves to see this man pay for his wrong to her. But she will have to be the one to do this... because if she isn't ready to face this and her fears..there's nothing you can say or do to fix it. I am sorry this burden was laid on you. Just try not worry o.k.? And be available to her when she needs someone that will help her more than anything.

you should try and have her talk to you more about it...or your sister. She shouldn't keep it bottled up...I'm sure she needs someone to talk to about it or she would not have brought it up.
This is one I'd only trust Oprah to give the right answer on.
I've experienced that, I didn't tell until I was about 16, no one believed me at that time..... Now they do...... a little to late though, some damage was done. The more I talk about it the better I get ...so will she. She needs to share with others just like her. That's about all we can do to help ourselves.

Let them know about this.. She needs justice.. Does your friend know that guy? Does she knew him until now? Because that's the only way you can find the guy.. And advice your friend to go to a psychiatrist because she might be under trauma... Tell your friend that you only cared for her... But that's years ago, why she didn't let others know about this? And ask your friend what really happened? Does he frightened her? and forced her not to tell to others or else?

Dont tell anyone unless she asks you to, or tells you it's okay (which I doubt she'll do). This is very personal, so you should not get in the middle of it. Let your friend tell a trusted adult when she's ready. Since it's your sister friend, and I assume not yours, its not really your job to do anything for now.

U probably should tell soon because it could happen again and the person who raped your friend will probably do it again because the person who raped your friend thought he knew the only person who would know would be your friend. So yes u should tell before it gets worse.

It is actually matter of personal choice. However I suggest that you do not talk about it at all. It really hurts somewhere talking about the bad things in your life. Just keep it to yourself and try not mentioning it to her. She is just 12 now, which is still quite a delicate stage.

it's not your secret to tell if you feel like you want to do something then just be a Friend to your friend and listen to how she feels and never say I understand if you don't . and urge her to get help.
unless it's someone in her house who is doing this to her and you have to tell for her safety then I think you should do so
