I got this Assiment and I've no idear what people in Malta wear. Does anyone know what TRADTIONAL clothes people wear in Malta Thank ya xxoo

Well, apparently they don't wear it anymore, but until the 20th century, women used to wear a type of headgear/dress called the Ghonnella or Faldetta. Check out the pages for more info...

Apparantely the maltese costume is the "Ghonella" which was a black cloak worn as an over coat and over the head to protect the people from wind, rain and sun. The women used to wear this garment.
