I understand her not wanting to be typecast, or define her for the rest of her career. It happened to many Bond girls back in the 70's, 80's, and early 90's. It would be frustrating to have to find a new actress to play the role though. When Gloria Foster died in the making of the Matrix sequels the producers had to re-write the script in order for a change in the actor to seem logical. There aren't any cheap copouts like that available for the Potter series since it's based off a book.

That would suck. What are they going to do? Cast someone else and pretend we don't notice? I hate when they switch out actors like that.
