What is the highest points you scored off of what word? What is the most unique word you were ever able to spell out?

I got Hazelnuts on a triple. The first word of the game was Haze... My mom then did Hazle... I then had nuts, for form hazelnuts... I got I think 60 something off that. I also had first word of the game RAISINS... 7 letters for a bonus 50 points... Then once I did cocoa and orc on a triple, the c being on the tripple.... That was 90 something points... I love scabble. My husband and I play almost nightly. My scores are normally in the 300's at the end of the game of 2 players. Not sure if that is good or not, but they are never any higher then maybe 350 ish...

I know I scored 167 points for a triple-triple word bingo and the word was TILEFISH.
I once opened a game with BAWDRIC, and I thought I was just being silly. My opponent though so too, and challenged it. I'm not sure who was more shocked when it was good!

i can't remember the word, but the word itself was fantastic as it was on a triple word score, and i used all my tiles, and it fit in like a puzzle to form 2 other words that i got the points from,...i netted over a 100 points.

Just funnin' with you-that is an actual character in the comics but I've never been able to use it in Scrabble..Since it is a proper name it isn't allowed anyway...He is 1 of Superman's foes (Mr. Mxyzptlk)...I don't recall my real highest point total.
