Yes and major depression!!!

Yes, I do. Long story told *very short*: I had the family from hell. My father was violent and psychotic, abusive in every way imaginable, and my mother was neglectful to extremes (partly from being disabled, but partly because she was an alcoholic). Me and all three of my sisters have emotional scar tissue a mile thick, so to speak.

I in particular have had problems with depression, dissociation and post-traumatic stress for the past 15+ years as an adult and have really struggled with a local "mental health" system that is negligent because it was too busy pushing an HMO-sponsored agenda of pills and behavoiral "therapies" as a one-size-Must-Fit-All approach. As if six *weeks* of the workbooks and the rubber band around the wrist can fix over 30 YEARS of abuse and difficulty, both at home and after I left home....

But that is it in a nutshell. Email me if you want to know more the easy way, or search some of my rantier, longer Best Answers on the subject in the Psychology and Mental Health categories. I don't specialize in those two, but I do know what I know, if you know what I mean.

Thanks for your time. ^_^ I hope this was helpful.

No but I am sick and tired of carrying around this 400lb cast on my arm. It is the biggest one I have ever seen. I might have to join the circus when I am completely healed. Monkey boy with a freaky arm....

I had some problems after a gruesome murder scene. But, back then nobody cared about what police officers endured and they did nothing for us.
I got help on my own and highly suggest it for anybody who does suffer from PTSD. I haven't had a nightmare about that in ages...

I don't suffer from it. I deal with it.
Doctors teach you to suffer from it, it keeps money in the bank for them. I deal with it and it stays regulated.
