I like idioms!
Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. It means don't get rid of everything just because a part of it is bad. Keep the good (the baby) and throw out the bad (the bathwater.)

An Idiom is an expression (i.e. term or phrase) whose meaning cannot be deduced from the literal definitions and the arrangement of its parts, but refers instead to a figurative meaning that is known only through conventional use. (ex. kick the bucket does not mean to kick a bucket)
Hmm I guess my favorite idiom would be:
Cowboy up/ Man up: Be a man and get the job done. Quit making excuses.

Mine's "do not judge a book by its cover". The reason I like it because it's a very useful idiom in our life. Until now, I've encountered many fake people with ugly intentions. You may not believe what you've seen until you've tried it on your own.
*sigh*this's the reality of the world.

What goes around comes around. (if that counts for an idiom, might be more of a phrase, but I like it nevertheless)
I think it's pretty self-explanatory.
