i am playing silent hill and my memory card isn't being read for my ps2?

You may be trying to use the wrong memory card. The original Silent Hill was not for the PS2, so you can't use a PS2 card to save.

That's the only thing I can think of that might cause this kind of problem. Except the memory card getting corrupted, which isn't fixable. Sorry if I'm not much help.

Okay now there are one of two problem your Ps2 might have. It could just be dust so blow in it and in the Ps2. Or the card could have gotten to a Magnet. That happened to me and all my files were destroyed on it. Also email me if im right or not.
