That's a beautiful name! It flows very well. I'm sure your daughter will be just as beautiful as her name!

Violet Elizabeth was a character in the Just William books- she was a spoiled lisping brat! I'm afraid thats what I think of when I hear that name, even if I didnt remember why at first. There is also a brat called Violet in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Theres also a high chance of Violent Violet as a tease name, but kids will always find some way to be horrible to each other, and thats not that bad!

Violet is a lovely name if I could get rid of those connotations. Vi and Letty would make lovely nicknames. I think it would also suit a three syllable middle name ending in 'a' or 'ca'

I think they sound nice together. You should name the baby what you feel is right. I dont know anyone with the middle name elizabeth. Its pretty and you should use those.

I love the name Violet -- it is NOT an old person name like someone said! Its back! The daughter on Incredibles name was Violet, in fact.

I wanted to name my new baby girl's middle name violet. My own grandmother told me it was a joke. Everyone hated it, so I didnt name her that. I still personally love that name, though.

In my opinion, Violet is a terrible name.
Elizabeth makes a great middle name though!

How about Lillian Elizabeth... Lilly for short.

To tell you the truth no. Elizabeth Violet sounds better(but it doesnt sound great)! Violet Elizabeth doesnt flow, and I think that names need to flow. Violet Elizabeth sounds like two names said together with no pause. Try Elizabeth Marie or Elizabeth Rose, but nothing sounds good with Violet.

SORRY!!!

I do like the name Elizabeth but I don't like the name Violet. It reminds me of an old person's name from generations past. It also reminds me of the British show on PBS "Keeping Up Appearances". Hyacinth (the main character) is always talking about her sister Violet who has a Mercedes and a swimming pool. Now that I think of it Elizabeth is a character in that show as well. Hey, is it possible that you ...................na.

that is remarkable. It sounds extra effective than Violet Elizabeth Hazel. i think of Hazel is purely too sharp to flow on the tip of a attractiveness, if it fairly is wise. To be undemanding, i admire Violet Sonora via itself. i think of the "th" on the tip of Elizabeth sounds awkward with Sonora. yet usual that is incredibly. :)
