I went off Loestrin Fe 2 months ago. I had a normal period about 3 days late. I am waiting for my second one which should com next week.

about a week after I finished my last pack I had off and on very mild nausea. I had had this symptom when I started taking the pill. I also had head aches from time to time, another side affect I had when I went on the pill.

I was not regular when I went on the pill. My cycles were all out of wack because I had come off the depo shot. the doctor gave me the pill to get a regulated cycle like I had before I went on the shot.

I have heard that some women stay regular and can conceive right away, but others it can take a year for your body to adjust. These women may skip periods or have cycles with very different lengths. Some even start having normal cycles two weeks after stopping and then no other problems.

It really is a wait and see.

you'll probably get your "real" period for about a month or two, sometimes it takes longer to get your hormones back to normal. some said they became irregular after stopping the pill and everything wasn't the way it was. be sure that you have other methods used, unless you are trying to conceive. when i get off the pill, after about two months i didn't have my period up to then and found out that i was already pregnant.

It depends on lots of things. For instance...how long your body was on the pill, your weight (this has alot to do with it), what kind of pill-whether it was low dose or regular dose. There are different types of pills. It also depends on how your body adjusted to the pills when you were on them.
