Aristotle and Plato were great thinkers. So were Socrates, Euclid, and Archimedes. Each of them achieved something special, so different people would have different opinions on which was the greatest, but by a small margin Plato is the one whose writings are most frequently quoted as the basis of further discoveries or insights by later thinkers.

It could also be Euclid who created Geometry or Zeno of Cyprus who came up with the philosophical idea of Stoicism. Stoicism was the idea of trying to find happiness through virtue and accept your fate in life.
