Bulls won 55 games in 94 w/out Jordan. In 95 w/out Jordan they were 34-31. Basically they weren't able to sustain that pace. Whereas the 92 Bulls won 67 games. Jordan at 28 never missed the playoffs and only played with an all star one season (Pip in 90). Kobe is an OLD 28 he's played more minutes and its taken its toll on him. He's had a few knee surgeries. Jordan was much more explosive at 28 than Kobe. In there best scoring years Kobe averaged 35.4 while shooting 44% and MJ scored 37.1 while shooting 50%. Jordan made the All Defensive first team 5 times, Kobe did it once. MJ won 2 MVP's Kobe none. Jordan won Defensive Player of the year in 88. Kobe has yet to do so. MJ has averaged more Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, Field Goal %, Free Throw %, and PER. Jordan was a much more efficient scorer, and a better defensive player, leading teams without all stars to Eastern Conference Finals. Kobe has yet to lead a team out of the First Round.

as for Alpha Wolfs Craig Ehlo comment, i guess scory 46 and 63 against DJ and arguably the best team in NBA history the 86 Celtics meant nothing? As for the 95 Record!! If you looked at what i wrote you'd see that 34 and 31 do not add up to 82!
You can't retroactively attach All Star appearances to Pip! He only was selected to one (90) when Jordan was 28! Jordan had 50 win seasons w/out an all star! The fact of the matter is that Mr. Migraine wasn't tough enough to win on his own. When surrounded with Barkley, and Hakeem in Houston, he didn't win a championship, and with a veritable All Star cast in Portland (smith, wallace, wells, sabonis) he CHOKED in game 7. By the way this is the only reason the Lakers ever won! Aside from the 2001 Playoffs, they were helped by two of the worst choke jobs in history on the part of Portland and Sacremento respectively.
As for Kobe, he may have been a distributor on the 2000 team, but he was the leading scorer on the other two championship teams.
