Jordan perfored better on championship caliber teams than Bryant, and his numbers as a one man show, blow KB8/KB24 out of the water

Bulls won 55 games in 94 w/out Jordan. In 95 w/out Jordan they were 34-31. Basically they weren't able to sustain that pace. Whereas the 92 Bulls won 67 games. Jordan at 28 never missed the playoffs and only played with an all star one season (Pip in 90). Kobe is an OLD 28 he's played more minutes and its taken its toll on him. He's had a few knee surgeries. Jordan was much more explosive at 28 than Kobe. In there best scoring years Kobe averaged 35.4 while shooting 44% and MJ scored 37.1 while shooting 50%. Jordan made the All Defensive first team 5 times, Kobe did it once. MJ won 2 MVP's Kobe none. Jordan won Defensive Player of the year in 88. Kobe has yet to do so. MJ has averaged more Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, Field Goal %, Free Throw %, and PER. Jordan was a much more efficient scorer, and a better defensive player, leading teams without all stars to Eastern Conference Finals. Kobe has yet to lead a team out of the First Round.

as for Alpha Wolfs Craig Ehlo comment, i guess scory 46 and 63 against DJ and arguably the best team in NBA history the 86 Celtics meant nothing? As for the 95 Record!! If you looked at what i wrote you'd see that 34 and 31 do not add up to 82!
You can't retroactively attach All Star appearances to Pip! He only was selected to one (90) when Jordan was 28! Jordan had 50 win seasons w/out an all star! The fact of the matter is that Mr. Migraine wasn't tough enough to win on his own. When surrounded with Barkley, and Hakeem in Houston, he didn't win a championship, and with a veritable All Star cast in Portland (smith, wallace, wells, sabonis) he CHOKED in game 7. By the way this is the only reason the Lakers ever won! Aside from the 2001 Playoffs, they were helped by two of the worst choke jobs in history on the part of Portland and Sacremento respectively.
As for Kobe, he may have been a distributor on the 2000 team, but he was the leading scorer on the other two championship teams.

Because at 28 Kobe is a allaround better player then Jordan was at 28.(ask Phil).......Kobe has won more rings at 28 then MJ at 28..,,,If Kobe did'nt play with Shaq all those years he would have led the league in scoring..prabably around 35 - 40ppg.....81....Mike could'nt lead his team to winning record by himself..he needed another allstar..Kobe did it without another allstar!..because if you take Mike off his team they would still contend for the title.(I thought he made them)....any more ?'s

sigh!.....yawn......ok listen up!..............

In 1993, Michael Jordan led the Bulls to a 57-25 record, and a third straight title. Then he retired. The next year, the 1994 Bulls finished 55-27, and lost in the second round of the playoffs in 7 games. That's only a 2 game drop

And NO!!!..in 95 the Bulls were 47 - 35.. Jordan DID return for the final 17 games, even lighting up the Knicks for 55 points in his 5th game back. So where did the Bulls end up?
They lost in the second round of the playoffs to Orlando in 6 GAMES, even WORSE than the year before ( without Jordan

84 - 85 Bulls record 38-44..loseing season..lost in the first round

85- 86 Bulls record 30 - 52...MJ got hurt..scored 63 in a LOSS!

86 - 87 Bulls record 40 -42 loseing season lost in first round ..swept..THIRD STRAIGHT LOSEING SEASON!!!
Jordan's playoff record 1 -9..that's right 1 win 9 losses

87 - 88 (first season with PiP) 50- 32...lost in playoffs..Hey Pip comes in and the Bulls have a winning record!!!

88 - 89 Bulls record 47 - 35 ..lost in ECFinals....Pippen really starts to emerge

89 - 90.Michael Jordan won his 4th straight scoring title with 33.6 ppg. Along the way Scottie Pippen had a breakout season adding the perfect offensive complement to Jordan's highflying aerial show. In the playoffs the Bulls would easily rip through the Milwaukee Bucks in 4 games and the Philadelphia 76ers for an Eastern Conference Finals rematch with Detroit Pistons. In a classic series the Piston and Bulls would battle the full 7 game, but the Pistons would emerge victorious on the way to their 2nd straight title.

In fact pippen was regarded as the second best player in the league and even withou MJ he led the bulls to one of there best records and deep into the playoffs.......MJ never had a winning season without PiP.........5 time loser without PiP....
Pip won in Chicago...Pip won in Portland......now who needed who?........who was the real MVP...I guess Nash is better then Shaq..because according to you Nash has more MVP's......the league even expanded there playoffs when Jordan Kept losing..that way it ensured MJ made the playoffs......all he has to show for a team wiyhout Pip(top 50 player of ALLTIME)..is a 63 point loss....wow!...

Oh yeah!...if MJ shouldt shoot atleast 50% against great defender's(laugh!!)like Craig Ehlo....to easy to easy

If Kobe never played with Shaq..he would be averaging between 35-40 ppg early in his career..but Kobe was a facilitator on those championship teams ..he sacrificed personel awards for RINGS..bieng a star and winning Rings..
Kobe has 3..MJ 1........any more ?'s

63 in a double overtime loss.......that's what your argument is?
Double overtime if it was Kobe he would have scored 103..
lol...

50 wins yay!...still a loseing season....he was ballhogging
if he let PiP have more touches they would have had a winning record!....I thought he made people better..LOL..
He scored 63..and lost.....now your saying the lakers won because other teams choked?..please...in 90-91 the lakers were severly injured..Magic..Worthy..Scott..were all injured..if they(lakers) were healthy they would have destroyed the BULLS..the next year Magic had to retire or they would have won another title...gotta come stronger then that!.....

Now you say Pippen could'nt win?.....wowww!.....he won more then Jordan!....he led multiple teams to winning records and deep playoff runs..without Mike...Mike by himself has a 63 point loss....Mike with rip hamilton and Jerry Stackhouse has two losing season's..and a 55point sendoff from KB8!(ok to retro that?)....yep..MJ needed Pip more then PiP needed MJ......your iceskateing up hill.......MJ without Pip is a baldheaded D.Wilkins....or Clyde Drexler in baggy shorts...lol

Some Kobe Bryant enthusiasts have no idea the tale approximately the 2004 championship that is why a few historic Kobe Bryant enthusiasts are perhaps a Michael Jordan fan or different participant fan like LeBron James.Michael Jordan wins.

I laugh when people say kobe scored more first. Kobe skipped college you idiots. Of course he scored more at a yougner age. but he was slower to do it. Scoring isn't everything. And jordan missed out on two years in his prime. Kobe will never win another championship since he ran off the big fella (who was the only reason kobe has any rings)

Because Kobe is still playing and they think he will eventually overtake MJ. I will treat them as two individuals and should not compare them anymore like this. Let watch the game and enjoy!

i think it might just be the younger fans...the ones who only seen clips of mj dominating the league and didnt get a chance to see it first hand...or those who only saw him during his time playing for the wizards.

kb is as closest thing we'll see to a jordan-esque player ...but even with that...he's still quite a distance behind mj as far as greatness.

Well, I hear there are pretty good hallucinogenics that make people think this. Take each player in their prime and Kobe couldn't carry MJ's shoes.
