light is an electromagnetic radiation(wave nature) with quantum nature that is it constitutes of discrete packets of energy called photons (material nature).it is not made up of em radiations ....be clear of that.......it constitutes various energy packets called photons.......so it is not a continous energy system,so u cannot expect energy of every value......it is fixed just like the energy of d electrons in an orbit around the nucleus.they cannot occupy a space which does not match with the 2 energy levels of the 2 different orbits......this is d case with the light...it has both wave n particle nature....and hence follows De Broglie's equation
frequency = plancks constant (h) / mass*velocity......
got it.....n thanks for askin such a unique question.

Light is made up of particles called photons. These particles can also be thought of as waves. These waves travel at certain frequencies, and these frequencies determine the color (ie. low frequency is red light, high frequency is violet light).
Lower frequency than red light gives us infrared light. Higher frequency than violet light gives us ultraviolet light. All these frequencies are electromagnetic waves. (electric waves and magnetic waves travelling together)

Light is not made up of anything. It is fundamental. The notion of photons is an abstraction to describe the nature of light. It is not a component of light.

Light is thought of as either a particle or a wave. As a particle, it is a bunch of massless photons. As a wave (more of a field interaction than a physical wave), it is oscillating perpendicular electric and magnetic fields.

It is made up of streams of pockets of energy called as photons or quanta possesing energy e=hf,
where h=planck's constant&
f=frequency of light.

Light is a series of ultra sound waves. Each color is a different frequency. With a prism, you can split the light colors, but what you are actually doing is separating the frequencies.
