I hate that.

Just buy new shirts. They're cheap and all the effort and time needed to get rid of the stains just isn't worth it.

I just had some success with this. I poured strait bleach on the armpit stains, them some laundry soap.No water at all. I scrubbed the heck out of it with a nail brush, Then I turned it inside out and repeated. When I finished with that I rolled the whole shirt up in a ball and let is sit for a couple of hours. Then washed it in bleach and laundry soap, and the stains were gone. I know it was harsh, but I couldn't wear the shirt in the condition it was in, so why not? And it worked!

preen ...you can buy it in an applicator now, so you just kinda draw it on. A good soak in Napisan (how water) is great to brighten all your whites, you need to hang them in the sun for the bleach to do its work.

sodium perborate. Don't buy it thru the 'vintage repair' shops, get in at the science oriented places. Removes everything that can be removed w/o damaging the fabric.

The only success I've ever had with this sort of problem is to use bleach in the wash.

Good luck!
