i like to have an off line copy of a pokedex, maybe in html or pdf format that i could refer when i'm playing at home. better if it tells the location where i can catch it, the attacks it could learn, and the likes..the more information it contains, the better. i'm playing emerald by the way.

Although you can't download it, www.serebii.net has the most comprehensive pokédex availible on the net. On the main page, look at the side bars and click on the R/S/C/FR/LG/E pokédex link. This will tkae you straight to the 3rd generation pokédex main page. You can then scroll through and select any of the pokémon. The pokédex shows what they learn through level up, what they learn from TM's, what they learn from breeding, what they learn from tutors, the pokémon they can breed with, how they evolve, where they are found on each version, their base stats, their maximum stats and the pokédex entry for each version.
