As long as you have a driver's license and credit card. Many rental places only allow you to rent if you're over 25. Some cities have car sharing programs that may have a lower age minimum (21? or 18??).

Most car rental companies won't rent to someone under 21 and if they do it is with an extra fee, the extra fee only applies to drivers under 25 and in my experience has been $25 to $30 per day.

Just remember that car rentals can run $20-50/day. If you are interested in something longer term, your best bet would be to lease a car. Depending on the kind of vehicle you are looking for, you can find great leasing deals out there. I just saw a Saturn lease commercial tonight for $99.00 a month.

yes, but you will have to have a valid driver's license, buy insurance, and be over 18, in some cases 21, and a credit card for most of the national companies.
