not fair of coz. i will burn all the turtle to hell tonight. So we would all out live them.

Life span depends on various factors:
1. Heart beats per second (more beats means less life)
2. Energy requirements (humans need more energy than turtles and thus live lesser)
3. Energy spend (turtles have less spend, and are more efficient energy conservers)
4. Activity range (Humans are hyperactive, whereas turtles and tortoises are not).
5. Surface area of body (Turtles have more organised surface area to avoid escape of heat).

First, not all turtles do. Just a few species. Anyway they lead boring lives, swimming around, waiting for a full moon once in a year to lay eggs on the beach (if they are female) or waiting for the "time" to mate with a female if they are male. The rest of the year.....where does a male turtle go to have fun?

some trees can get to be 500 years old or more
is that fair
and we cut them down that is even more unfair

of course it is fair, just because we are more developed, doesn't mean they don't get to live longer than us. we are not superior, that would be like the whole hitler thing, except with animals. he believed that there was one superior race and that all other races were inferior. don't think like that, its not fair.
