Have you ever had any great ad-libs which made you feel really clever?

I've had several( I think I have a knack), but one of my favorites is this one: I was living with an ex GF and she woke up one Sunday morning with a stiff neck. I went and got the tube of mentholated analgesic muscle rub. Now, Apocolypse Now is one of my favorite movies and I love the scene with Robert Duvall which made him and the movie famous. So, as I was massaging the cream into her neck, I said, " I love the smell of nape balm in the morning. It smells like................victory".
It went right over her head. But I liked it.

No here is the conversation after I crashed my bike into the drivers door (at 45mph) on an old woman's corvair...1st lady" oh after that I thought you'd be dead!" my response"sorry to disappoint you mam.." 2nd lady" my gosh after that I thought there would be more blood!" only visible blood was 1 drop on bridge of my nose...btw not wearing a helmet...my response..by now a good size crowd was gathered" has anybody got a knife?.. I'll cut myself and bleed for this bit*h" was surpassed by my father whom I'd had called to inform of the crash..as the police were putting the gurney into the rear of the station wagon with the splint protruding beyond the rear door...1st Lady to dad" Excuse me sir is this your son?" Dad's response"Yes he is" 1st L" well after all this he still has a sense of humor!" Dad looking her straight in the eye" Lady that's all the sense the little son of a bit*h has!!"
