What happened to modesty and dignity? Everywhere I look there's some girl walking halfdressed down a street. And then they want to know why guys dont respect them or why they never feel good about themselves....
What's the deal? I mean, obviously modesty is out of style because every store I look at rarely boats modest clothing-especially teen stores and stuff like that. I'm sick of it! I can never find a skirt that wont show my underwear lines or a shirt that doesnt show EVERYTHING!! I have dignity and I want to know why modesty isn't pushed anymore.

well the answer to the skirt issue is the thong.
I think thong manufacturers have pushed the tight, low cut on bottoms so we have to buy them.

Modesty is right out of fashion. Many don't even wear panties. I'm not complaining, I like to look. You march to the beat of a different drum, and that's fine. Be who you are.

Don't worry, it'll come back! If you look at the applauded style icons over time, none of them felt the need to repeatedly show what they had for lunch. Subtlety is hot, but just not the trend at the moment.

I totally agree with you. Maybe things went astray when all the rock stars started looking grungy and they showed too much. There are the girls' role models. I personally hope that it all turns around.
