My favorite teacher was my senior high school World History teacher. He could describe any event in history as though he was there firsthand. I would skip out of school alot, but always return for that last class with him. I wrote him a letter before I graduated letting him know how powerful his words were. I loved to listen to him speak with passion and force about war, dynasties, politics, law, inventions, revolutions, art, music, geography, and on and on and on. He was an awesome speaker. His name was Mr. O'Neill. He was a teacher at Highlands High School in San Antonio, Texas. I graduated in 1990. I got an A in his class. I was absent maybe 4 times from his class, opposed to like 54 in all my other ones.

There were a few that stood out. But what I remember about my "favorite" was that she had a great sense of humor, with a big hearty laugh that was contagious. And she NEVER appeared to have any "favorite" students. She made us ALL feel special for one reason or another. She was very approachable, so if you had a question about the lesson, you felt quite comfortable going to her and asking for help.

My favourite teacher was the first one I had. I was living with my Grandparents in
Vermont. Her name was Miss Dietz. She was beautiful, kind and caring, and
loved to teach. I wish that I could have had more teachers like her. She made it
fun going to school.

Her name is Mrs. Dylan, and she was my 6th grade teacher. I only remember that we had a rowdy class and went through 3 teachers who quit with in the year (this is a Catholic elementary co-ed school). She was brought in from 4th grade to our 6th grade class - and everyone liked her. She made learning so fun...to this day I still remember her, but can't remember my college professors.

Mrs. Anderson was my fifth grade teacher. She was so fun and actually treated the kids like her own. She would actually listen & take us kids, seriously.
She always had something fun for us to do.
I remember the kids in the other classes wanted to trade.
