Manute Bol.

Why should a guy 7'7" shoot the 3?

Don Nelson is the answer.

Manute Bol was a good 3 point shooter. He even came up clutch sometimes. I'd say Shaq or Big Ben are the worst 3 point shooters. But in terms of misses, I'd guess Shawn Marion or Antoine Walker. Why do they shoot the three anyways? They are great inside the arc players.

I agree with Walker being the worst because he doesn't pick his times right. He forces shots with guys in his face when teammates are open. You can't say Shaq or Big Ben Wallace because they're centers and never shoot the 3 because they're not supposed to. Bol was a center too and didn't shoot 3s unless it was a blowout. How can you say a center is the worst 3 point shooterr of all time? If he's such a good shooter, he shouldn't be a center. A center's job is to dominate the paint, not jack up the trey.

i dont know who the worst PLAYER is but i know other stuff:

-Most 3pt attempts, none made, in a game: 11-Antoine Walker, Boston at Philadelphia, December 17, 2001

-Lowest three-point field-goal percentage, season
.104-Los Angeles, 1982-83 (10/96)

The three-point rule was first tested in a 1945 National Collegiate Athletic Association game between Columbia and Fordham.

In the 1979–80 season, the NBA officially adopted the three-point shot.

Really no player would get the opportunity to be called the "worst" because if he weren't capable of making them his coach would not continue to allow him to shoot them. You have some great player and Hall of Famers who weren't that great at shooting the 3pt shot. Examples... Kevin Johnson, Nate "tiny" Archibald, Isiah Thomas, Clyde Drexler, Magic Johnson, Grant Hill .. and so on. Now these players may have hit some from time to time but their percentage was real low.
