His rhetoric is uniting, rather than devisive. He speaks of hope and a better world, I can see it too. He was honest about doing drugs in his past, well, that's a good start...every other politican lies about it. He actually visited my city in TX, most of the other politicians ignore my always red state. My vote won't technically matter, but, at least he will know that at least one person in TX hasn't lost their mind. :o)

I voting for Barack Obama because he is not a career politician. He is a normal guy, like you and me. He cares about the issues that really matter, he believes in:
~Improving forgein relations through finding solutions in ways other than war
~He's been opposed to the Iraq war from the start, and has a clear plan to end it
~Opposes gay marriages; he's for civil unions
~Strengthening our homeland security
~Treating "criminals" convicted of drug crimes rather than adding to the problem of our overcrowded prison system
