My little girl is 9mths old and I was wondering when I can give her vegemite.

She should be fine to have it now. Just butter the bread really well and only use a tiny bit of vegemite and spread it out, so there is barely any on there. Enough so she can taste it but just not to much.
As she gets used to the taste you can put more on the bread.

My son had vegemite with his first piece of toast at around 8 months old (once he had some teeth to chew it)!!!

oh man, vegemite lol. sorry, I can't answer your question...but oh boy to I remember my first taste of vegemite lol...definitely an acquired taste!

you should try it now. if she doesnt like it wait for awhile and then try again. my son is six months and he eats a lot of baby food
