Okay before all the teenage girls who like him be like "bla bla bla your dumb you dont know good singing bla bla bla" This is just a question. I mean personality i think the show has gotton more boring over the years and its becoming faker and faker, but I was watching american idol tonight with my family and i see all these girls screaming for him...one was even crying. I just want to know why. I mean i am a teenage girl and i think he sounds horrible! And I know about the website votefortheworst and everything but there are also people who really like him and i am just wondering why.
Sorry if i offened anyone in anyway...but serously....why?

This one has puzzled me more than any other contestant because Sanjaya can't sing. Maybe they like his smile, or the fact he is representing the young teen guy. I don't know.
I think this week is his last. Please he must be voted out. lol

i voted for him for the first time yesterday and I'm not a teenage girl.
I think it's because he looks like a young Indian prince...he is really, really quite enchanting.
it is not about the singing,and no i didn't cry,that girl was an actor or a very disturbed child.

I'm not offend... though I am a HUGE fan. I think he is rather cute. ^^ His hair is irresistible. I thought it was a little creepy when that little girl was actually CRYING in the audience, though. He can't sing for crap, and the reason that everyone is keeping him in is because he's gorgeous.

He was in the bottom 2 last week so his popularity isn't as strong as other contestants. Still it is the young girls voting for him and probably because they can most identify with someone their age.
To say he is cute, I don't see it, and I don't need new glasses. ha ha

I think its the votes of the pedophiles and transgenders. Sorry, I have nothing against transgenders- I just think they are voting for Sanjaya... and I beg of you to stop. The great artists are being sent home each week in lue of him... YUK.

Im sure its his sex appeal and the hair but I do agree its gone a little overboard-there was no need for that girl to cry throughout the whole performance, i thought she had some disablity

Probably because he is the only one they can relate to because he is a kid...the rest of the guys look like grown men to them.
