It sucks. Why? The 2,000 dollar tax credit is great (if you could afford a new car). It does nothing for families that make under 60,000 a year. The middle class are getting poorer and the upper class is getting richer. And those in poverty are being thrown scraps. If the Government wanted to make it fair they should of made it that whatever car you buy or have as long as you get excellent mileage and is not a big polluter(emissions)you should get a tax break. GST should be cut on products manufactured in Canada. Heavy taxes and fines to be levied to any business that is a big polluter, whether it is CO2 emissions or landfill waste. Make it fair for all people not just aboriginals for affordable housing, clean water, education and health care. Everyone should pay the same tax no matter what race or creed you are, fair is fair. We are all Canadians and we all have the sane rights. No one is above or more distinct than anyone else. Taxes and tax breaks should be applied to your income bracket and when it comes to spending this government money from our taxes the government should invest it in economic endevours that help to create a better greener environment. Money should be spent on infastructures that will pave the way for a cleaner and greener Canada and allow people to prosper while doing it. Bio diesel and hydro, solar and wind eletricity projects should be the focus. Health care and education should be the focus. Better laws and the elimination of the young offenders act should be the focus.

Why more for welfare? I see the need for education. All in all a good election budget, not typically conservative, but has something for everyone. They can't fix all the Liberal mistakes of the past in just 2 budgets. It will take a few to smooth out the edges and retarget funds to priority areas.
By the way, and on second thought, welfare and education are provincial responsibilities, not federal.
