Nursed my son till a year....then my daughter till 15 months. It was just as painful and awkward the second time, which was very frustrating, very. As for juggling the baby and toddler and the rest of what life has to offer, you just DO IT. Somedays you handle it better than others. I get flustered easily, so outings were a huge production, everything at first seemed like a huge undertaking....but a lot depends on all the personalities involved....

I nursed all four of my kids and it was rewarding although it was time-consuming.It took up so much of my time and I almost gave up on it several times. Now that look back it was a smart descision yet hard work but,it can be done.

I pumped enough for 2 babies.
My neice wasn't thriving, my sister didn't have much milk so she supplemented with water - of all things.

Once I found out, I started sending her all my excess/frozen milk - and fed both my baby and hers for more than 9 months.
