ok im not trying to bullshit anyone with this but im going to tell a story and something about me. I was sleeping at my nephews in his room. he was on his bed sleeping with a small dog and i was sleeping on the ground with some blankets. i coundn't sleep at all, which is normal for me anyways. my schizophrenia at the time would answer that. When i was laying on the ground i felt something touch me on the leg. i immediately looked up and saw that my nephew and dog were sound asleep. i thought it was the dog or something that touched me. im positive something tapped my leg. now the thing is my nephews house is 20 feet or less away from an electrical tower. and another thing that might answer this is i had a hernia surgery years before which means that the metal plate might have something to do with this. and this has happened twice. but i was so sketched out from a psychosis and paranoia that i was completely zoned out some where. but do you believe in something like this?

Yes it happens to all of us, sooner or later. However there are a lot of variables in you so called equation.
1. hypersensitivity to a new environment
2. Hypersensitivity to electromagnetic fields (EMF) (you have mentioned the tower (20 feet away is too close fro comfort)). EMF sensitivities are being studied and have been suspected in stranger phenomena.
3 Metal plate (could be more a source for a joke but I would look at it more pragmatically from neurological and physical perspective))

Bottom of the line you are not that crazy.

Have fun.
