the one dollar bil says series 1935a and on the one dollar bill it also says on the bottom of the bill "one dollar in silver payable to the bearer on demand" and on the top of the bill "silver certificate". If someone could let me know if this bill is of value in any way or not I would appreciate the answer as I have been told by several people that it is of some value......thankyou

It is called a silver certificate. The value depends.The grade is the most important.How many folds and tears or stains.Is the paper crisp or limp.
