What skilled workers does Singapore currently need?

Does the Singapore government provide a list of skill shortages for immigration purposes?

My wife teaches adults English in Taiwan and has a Masters degree from a university recognised by the Singaporean authorities....

Teaching English is a marketable certification; however, the jobs in Singapore can be highly competitive as you may know.

It may help that your wife is American--and thus would better understand colloquiums and slang.

It may help that your wife has previous experience teaching in a foreign country.

It would be best if she were an American who spoke Malay, Mandarin, and/or Tamil as well.
