I frequently hear the crowd reaction a second before John finishes his radio call. Much more obvious than anyone else I can name.

Jon miller is the best announcer in MLB. Thats why he does the world series.
You probably hear the crowd first simply because the fans are the best in SF and cheer louder and faster than other fans....Lets go Giants

In response to the guy that says the padre announcers are the best...play the ea sports baseball games and listen to the announcers...year in and year out they choose the giants announcers with duane kiper and mike krukow and jon miller. The giants announcers have received so many awards for best in the mlb...so go stuff it! giants are the best! and the padres are nothin but a bunch of surf bums...IE khalil greene (however you spell his name-his parents were on sometin when they bore his ***)

Jon Miller should stay on the radio. When he does the Giant games on TV I have to mute him so I can watch the game with out listening to his gab.

yeah, and that's why he stinks. giants finish last in '07 and Bonds finally retires too little too late.
