I think the only Purina food that was included is the Mighty Dog Pouches.

I have recently contacted Purina about their products, due to the fact that my dog recently had acute kidney failure, after opening a new bag of food and trying a new treat from Purina. 2 weeks before the recall at Menu Foods. Purina said they looked into it and does not believe their products are tainted, and the Vet's could not determine a specific cause of the Kidney Failure, she in now in cronic kidney failure and most likely won't live another month.

No a company name Menu Foods .. here's part of the article
Recalls also were announced by:
•P&G Pet Care, manufacturer for Iams and Eukanuba, which recalled specific canned and foil pouch "wet" dog and cat foods. The recall does not apply to any Iams or Eukanuba drug products, biscuits, treats or sauces.
•Hill's Pet Nutrition, which recalled "a very small number" of Science Diet canned kitten and cat products that are co-manufactured by Menu.
•Nestle Purina PetCare Company, which recalled its 5.3-ounce Mighty Dog brand foil pouch products. No other Mighty Dog canned foods or other Purina products are affected.
"At this juncture, we're not 100 percent sure what's happened," said Paul Henderson, Menu Foods' president and chief executive officer.

i can tell you with days of research , Purina is not on the recall list, they only sent mighty bits to be recalled, on their own because it had the gravy in the pouch. if this is any help to cat and dog lovers, here are the foods i know for a fact is safe, as i have 14 cats and 2 dogs, and have feed them this food for yrs, 9LIVES wet solid cat food, no sauce or gravy they do not like the gravy or sauce , it is safe.,, it is made at Del Monte , by Del Monte and so is the dry cat food 9lives and. Purina cat chow, dog chow are also safe. the ones i would not use right now are anything with sauce or gravy. but these foods are safe, I love my pets and know this for a fact.. my animals are in door and out door, and i have mixed 9 lives with dry food . Purina mostly, and they are happy and healthy. hope this has helped. i have aways feed my dogs Purina DRY dog food, and Purina canned wet food the solid, without gravy.
9LIVES DRY AND WET, PURINA DRY AND WET DOG AND CAT FOODS ARE NOT ON THE RECALL LIST AND ARE SAFE.

i dont think so,you can go to www.wsaz.com and get a list.my daughter used the tainted stuff on her boxer and alaskan husky, they are having to watch them closley for signs of sickness, the vet said till they show symptoms theres not much that can be done,i think they should be sued and made pay for all these animals thay people are losing.
