i own a shop, and it probably has a weak fuel pump on it or a bad fuel filter ,those was bad to pick up a lot of crap from the tank, and clog the filters up,that's been what i have found wrong with the most of them that have came to the shop, the filter is the cheapest and easiest repair and usually does the trick, good luck i hope this helps.

Dude. i am hoping you at the prompt are not attempting to position out a trick question; yet basically if you're: would not the motorcar favor gas to run so in case you do not provide it gas that's going to end. even if that's a severe question, i'd start up with the carb or probably the choke isn't enticing?

Assuming it runs fine with the pedal pushed down, it is either getting either too much or too little of gas or air. Check fuel filter and air filter. If it is not those, then it could be electrical (computer).

would need more info. what year and engine would help. could be your mass air sensor. could be timeing. fule pump/filter. lots of things can cause that. if it is a newer model look on the internet for your model and see if there is a way to read the computers diag codes on the dash lites. in my car there is a switch on the ecu to tell it to spit them out on a dash light in code so i can see what it says is wrong.

Your fuel filter may be clogged or the fuel pump may be going out.Check your fuel pressure, it should be around 40 psi. Possibly a mass air flow or dirty throttlebody.

I agree, you need to Up the idle. It could be something in your fuel line impeding the flow, but I think that that's rare.

Have the EGR valve checked. Check your vacuum hoses, one might have become disconnected (this was my problem.. They did the tune up but knocked off a vacuum hose.) Have the timing checked.

If it's an older Mustwang, i.e. carburated, replace your accelerator plunger in the carb.
