How would a deletion of one nucleotide in the middle of an mRNA trascript affect the polypeptide specified by that transcript?

I'll use a sequence as an example:
THE SUN SET RED
if this is a sequence of amino acids, if you delete one letter, the entire sentence is moved over one.

It will alter the reading frames, and will end up possibly coding for different amino acids from that point on.

Count by three; the codon. AGCUGAUCC delete one

AGCUAUCC different polypeptide.
