Unless you are cleaning the rocks, and you shouldn't need to very often, just when you want to remove some algae.. you shouldn't need to remove them from the tank. When you're changing the water and vacuuming the gravel you're aim is not completely clean, it's to get the big stuff and most of the stuff in the gravel, not all of it. You should be able to do that with the rock in it.

No don't move the plant when doing a water change. Clean the gravel you can. Remember you don't want it spotless It is good to have some bacterias and poo in there. It is benefial to your tank. I only clean the plants and stuff when they look super nasty.

Move the rocks so that you can clean under them well. If you have live plans leave them in place, but you can move the plastic one's out of the way easily. I take mine out and rise them as needed but not every water change.

I always do, so I can clean them, too. It's also easier to vacuum the gravel when there are no obstacles.

i would yes and run under clear tap water do not use chemicals on them just rub dirt off
