It is kind of a "guitly pleasure". There are some songs that I am embarrassed to say I enjoy, but I still like them, and I will listen to them, but in private.
They aren't bad songs, just like you said, not my usual taste.
That "guilty" feeling just makes the song that much more enjoyable!!

I did when I was younger & it wasn't 'cool' to listen to certain types of music. Now that I'm older & certainly not trying to run with any crowd...no. I don't feel guilty anymore. I listen to whatever I want to at any given time, but I will admit to still having just enough of a glitch to smile when I'm listening to something I used to call a guilty pleasure. lol

Why should I feel guilty? I like hearing stuff that's different from my usual genre(when it sounds good to me). If other people don't like it, than they can close their ears.
