The Democrats are all ganging up on Pres. Bush for some pointless partisan bit of liberal fabrication regarding Judge Gonzales and some fired lawyers. The presdient doesnt answer to the Democrats- They answer to him. They need to be reminded of that detail. ****WHEN**** will Bush have these Democrats put in shackles and arrested? I'm sickened by the Democrat's fascist attempts to seize power- they have the House and the senate, and they want to overthrow the president. The Congress and the Senate answer to the president- He doesnt answer to them- He should arrest all the Democrats, and ban thier anti American party outright. Doesnt it seem by allowing the libs to continue to slinging mud at Pres Bush, the libs grow bolder in thier anti americanism?
Pres Bush needs to arrest the liberal filth in Washington today- They are communists, and are a threat to freedom.

It seems even if the Democrats and Congress tell Bush what to do- Why does he have to do anything? Can't he just ignore them? People need to wake up and realize the real terrorists are the democraps, and they have to be stopped- they must be arrested and tried as traitors.

Under provisions of the Patriot act which created the Department of Home Land Security the President has the ability to have any American arrested that he deems a terroreist or enemy combatant in the War on Terrorismon with evidence usully provided by the N.S.A or F.BI.usually from suviellance of one form or another.Detention without legal representation and no right of habeus corpus.It is always interesting to note that anytime a liberal is losing an argument that the charge of Fascist always rears it's ugly head.

You need a serious lesson in the functions of our branches of government. If you do not understand those basic components of our government you cannot possibly understand what is happening with the U.S. Attorneys. The Congress does not answer to Bush. The branches of government are structured to temper each other and to flow with checks and balances between them. I can understand, if you are young, why you think Bush is a dictator and not an elected official - the last six years would indeed give you that impression. For instance, the Congress has the power to impeach the President and the Senate has power to order a trial if impeachment occurs. Most Presidents welcome and expect input from Congress. This President has never given Congress the respect they deserve - even when it was a Republican majority. Of course he didn't need to, they all their noses up his rear end. You are very wrong. But he can have anybody he want's locked up & tortured. Bush has virtually seized absolute power over the US now through all of his executive orders. He can now arrest and detain anyone he wants because of his distruction of habius corpus (anybody who breaks *any* law [think new ones], we're talking even traffic offences, can be labelled an 'enemy combatant' and sent to a FEMA camp), they may not even know what they are being locked up for, let alone have a lawyer or representative. When detained (for an indefinite amont of time), due to recent laws passed by Dubya in the last year or so, they can be 'tortured within reason', and forced into labor work.

The camps are built, the laws passed, and heavy surveillance of the public is here.

Oh boy.. The things to come... People like you will be running the camps thinking it's for the good of America, or sending a SWAT team into a house to take away a granny who misspelt her name on a tax form 20 years ago.

Place them under arrest ??????? For making questions of Bushes actions??? Before Bush took office we had a treasury surplus. Now Billions have been spent on a quagmire of a so called war on terror.
And if left unchecked Bush wants to spend trillions more.
Who is paying for this ?? All american tax payers. The rich have enough tax loop holes and benefits to get by. But our american poor, elderly, and handicapped will be hurt the worst. Already their benefits are being slashed to help support terrorist nations and people that want to kill us.

I am not saying give people a free ride, just that our citizens should come first. Poor needy americans are barely given enough benefits to live right at or below the poverty level . They deserve better.

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld almost single handidly took usa into this war, and convinced almost everyone else to follow. Now when congress wants answers and tries to questions and balance Bushes actions he threatens to veto and says he is running this country and war and will make all the decisions. "All ANSWER ONLY TO BUSH"!!!


Excuse me but they answer to congress, and the citizens of this country . The voters spoke in November 2006. We are tired of Bush insisting he and his staff will make all the decions.


The people want checks, balances and answers !!!! The terrorists of 9 / 11 did not come from Iraq. e ven Bush
admitted this.

Instead of going more into Afghanistan, Pakistan, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the source of taliban, and al quada.
He chooses to go after a personal " vendetta " Saddam. and then use Iraq as the war front for the war on terror .
The majority of our armed forces bogged down in Iraq, while only a fraction of the forces that we really needed were sent to the true source countries of terrorists. Now they are still going strong and Usa is bogged in Baghdad.

Bush fires or shuts up all who do not agree with him or who he does not have under his wing.

While I want good for our country, Bush can no longer have free reign to spend and remain un checked. Maybe the attornies that were fired had it coming, maybe not. Now I do not beleive that congress wants subpeonas for party reasons only. Just that it should be brougnt out into the open. Bush just wants it settled in a back room, on his terms.
Enough of Bush's terms. The people want answers.

Once again another conservative voice of reason, lol. Hey stupid, go back to school and take a civics course before you go about making a fool of yourself with ridiculous questions. No, Bush cannot arrest any member of Congress, plain and simple. Then you go further down the road of lunacy calling anyone who disagrees with Bush communists, liberals, fascists, and I think dirt, making yourself look only sillier. Grow up, read a book and learn something before ever speaking or using a computer again.

Who is this Judge Gonzales you talk about? I guess you meant the Attorney General. What else, Bush cannot arrest anyone from congress (there's a little thing called parliamentary inmunity). Liberals are not anti americans, they just see things differently.

Last time I checked this was America and there is freedom of speech. Also the American system is a check and balance system, everyone answers to everyone. If Bush was the King of America, yes he probably could throw them in jail. However, in America ever part of the government checks another part of the government.
Note: Facism is the extreme of Republicans or the right, and Communism is the extreme of Liberals or the left.

It is funny that you think the challengers are fascists yet they are only challenging the Administration attempting to keep them from becoming Fascist. First you call them Fascists and then you call Democrats Communists. They can't be both as Fascists and Communists are at opposite ends of the political spectrum. Bush and all his cronies are nothing but a bunch of pathological liers and should be drawn and quartered for their grand show of bs. Theres no such thing as free speech in the usa he muzzles the pressand anyone who dares go against him like he did to your scientists. He and his bunch of lunatics will ruin the world. Wow! That's a lot of anger coupled with misinformation. The Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of government do not answer to each other. They answer to the American people who have the right to a peaceful revolution every four years IF the electoral process is allowed to function legally. The branches of government are supposed to check & balance each other so that government is limited and no one branch has more power than others.
