If you're still in grade school, then that's not too bad for a quarterback. However, if that's the position you seek, you might want to fill out your frame a bit. So you can take the pounding better. 6'5 235-250 is ideal.
Cheers!

Depends on how old you are.
4.79 is too slow for a receiver. Impossible to separate yourself from the DB's. 4.79 is also too slow for a safety. No way to catch up to a quicker receiver.
Cornerback has possibilities as the safety is your back up.
50 yds, ok for a QB but not @ 145 lbs. Too frail.
Speed can be improved. One can bulk up also ... WITHOUT steroids.

Throwing the ball 50 yards is nothing special the question is can you throw accurately. If you can you could play QB at the High School level easily and with another 2-4 inches play at higher levels too. Your speed is decent enough to play WR but you could get faster.

Recieving Tight End, 145 lbs is too small to block, but a 4.79 should be fast enough so linebackers can't cover you...

To short for a QB, to slow for a WR, not big enough for a RB. Hope you're only an 8th grader, at least that way you've still got some growing to do

Depending on the level of play, QB would be ideal with the exception of is your 50 yard pass accurate if it is go for it.
second choice would be outside linebacker

You really need to weigh more- preferably muscle mass; or you will really get beat up. I'd say QB or WR, but you need to beef up. If you are genetically predisposed to being smaller, you might consider being a basketball guard.

My friend has almost the exact same built as you (although hes a bit heavier) and hes our starting tight end. If you have good hands or can block pretty well play tight end

with some muscle, thats a great quaterback
in my high school, thats a great 40, apparently not for yahoo answers, but if being a wide receiver or db is better for you and what your coaches say then thats that
