lol I was wondering the same thing, I thought it was unnecessary. Then again it was a teenage girl, you know how some of them cry at pop shows/concerts, I'm guessing American Idol wouldn't be any different than seeing the Backstreet Boys live :|. I was annoyed with her crying for Sanjaya though, she's probably the only person in the world that would cry when he performs, aside from his family lol.

I think it's because she was so excited to be at American Idol. But it was kind of weird. I was like COME ON NOW get over it!! My son said she was just doing it for attention, which it did get her a lot of attention! Did you see the girl that was with her? Probably her sister. She acted so mortified!!

Because she is a total idiot!!! I'm sorry but how pathetic do you have to be??? It's like back in the day when little girls like her would go to a Backstreet Boys or NSYNC concert and sob and even pee their pants! COME ON!!!! It's time to grow up.
