Knock out either literally or by technicality .. or Tap out, usually by a submission move...
Or if the ref calls the fight due to injury, like blood flowing in the eyes.. but this is also a TKO
Oh yeah by judges decision... the guy below me said that one and I forgot.. good looking out to the guy below me... ;-)

That is one of the ways, the other way is to knock them out or the ref could stop it at any point for a cut that's too big and bleeding a lot or the corner could throw in the towel for the same reason.

knockout your opponent, make them submit or have the ref call the match.

no by decision (outpointing) knockout or even technical knockout...you're referring to submission
