if so how can you find out what you were in your past life?

I don;t believe in past lives. I know past lives are real.

I have distinct memories of several previous incarnations.

Such as being a Cathar, living in Atlantis, and living as a kahuna in Hawai'i.

Definitely. I don't know how to find out, I wish I knew. Some people just have flashbacks or very vivid dreams that give them the sense that there is no other explanation other than a past life. I think it could explain DeJa Vu too, but I haven't decided if it means you live the same life or several. I love thinking about this stuff, its very interesting. I hope we do live again because I don't want to just die and be dead forever, I want to feel alive no matter what form I take on.

I DO believe in past lives. My beliefs in reincarnation aren't like most, I think you have the choice to come back and obtain more wisdom or stay in the afterlife. Anyways, you can try and do meditation or channeling to see what comes to you. Possibly some astral projection. Or...you can go to a new age or metaphysical store and look at books that can help you or talk to a person of the store and see if they know anyone who does readings. Just be careful with any of the things I suggested. Some stores aren't as reputable as others and will simply try to take your money. Also, you may want to read up, or chat with people who've done channeling or astral projection first before you attempt it, if you haven't.

Yes I do. This past fall I took an Adult Ed course entitled 'Past Lives Regressions.' I was hypnotized and went back to 1740 I believe. I was a lawman's wife. We had a son. My son was shot during a gunfight between other men. While my husband was away, townsmen drowned me in a trough where the horses drank and then I went to Heaven! I saw people I knew and got to ask a question of my mother, and she answered me, resolving an issue that went back to 1973. You can look for Hypnotists in the Yellow Pages and ask about prices, or just look for adult ed courses like I did. I still have the tape from my regression. Good luck!

Yes. I've been around since approximately 400 B.C. It is very difficult to explain on how to remember---practice meditation ( read Edgar Cayce---PRIMER ) time travel in your dreams, some times help from gifted people. There is a process to this---you have to ask permission to go back once you reach a different dimension in "death". When practicing now---be careful as to not go to far because you might not find your way back. My personal most recent and horrific memory was back in Vietnam at age 6---in a pit of venomous vipers---I still feel the pain.

I believe in it. I don't think there is a way to scientifically find out who or what you were, but a lot of people see there past lives in their dreams. Maybe a psychic could tell you.

I don't believe it -- at least not for myself.

However, in my youth, I was handsome and fortunate enough to date at least 12 beautiful Egyptian princesses, one Russian princess, and never found or dated one former slave girl or downtrodden trollop. Oh, and I dated Sarah Bernhardt, too. (She had gained a little weight in this new life, but was still quite spunky.)

I think the demographics of past lives really speaks for itself.

I guess I didn't answer this one for you. Yes, I do. I have been to places I've never been before which were familiar, & got feelings from people (good or bad) I've never met before. I also have recurring dreams about people I've never met & places I've never been.......There are people who help you research it, but you must watch out for all of the scam artists.
