no, flip flops are cheap and very casual...they are not taking over the men's sandal market.

Well I swear flip flops are worse than socks. I keep having to buy more and more because I completely lose one or both in a pair.
The reason marketing for flip flops is so great lately is because they have so much money because people like me have to keep going and buying more. D:<

Flip flops are like a pink shirt on a guy. It really depends on how the man carries himself. If I had to choose for my boyfriend flip flops or sweaty feet in the summer I would definitley chose flip flops.

Add flip-flops to crying, whining, wasting words and eating quiche. "Real men," it seems, don't wear flip-flops.
So says hip-hop artist DMX, who recently dismissed rapper Jay-Z's sartorial sense with the comment “Thugs don't do flip-flops.”
But DMX is only the latest man to dis flip-flop wearing fellas, and it seems the world's simplest form of sandal has become the flashpoint in what some say is a long-coming backlash against the metrosexual trend.

Not at all! My bro doesn't wear flipflops too much and I think that's good! He had flip flops last summer, but grew out of them in a jiffy!Q If that happened to me, I would be at Nordstoms, or Juicy the second that happened. He didn't get new ones for the rest of the summer. Look at the Sprouse bros, they talk about how super cuet they think their shoes are, do you ever see them wearing flip flops?

I think it's the preppy beach look thing that's making flip flops really popular lately. Also, slides tend to fall off more, or at least have that reputation. I personally prefer sneakers.

I do see a lot of guys wearing flip flops, but I also see a lot wearing Tevas or Keens. I think it depends on where you live.

I agree with you, most of the time, but for beach wear, nothing beats flip flops.

Yeah I think so, alot of guys have the whole "Im going to the beach look",or " I'm a skater/prep "look. Its about namebrand yet comfort. For example check out singer/rapper/producer Pharrell.
