You will not get conservatives to admit the egregious failures and lies of Bush. It is hard to hear truth when one has their eyes closed and holding their ears while yelling, "La, la, la, la, la........" .
At least now we have a Congress that might be able to forestall him if they will work up the guts to do it. And I think more than a few chickens are now coming home to roost at the White House. Just 681 days and we will be out of this nightmare. Keep on holding on!

The time is long past.
The problem is, in the current political climate, the Senate is never going to vote 2/3 to convict him.
Which makes any impeachment (indictment) by the House either a waste of time, or an empty political gesture, since Bush will never actually be subject to punishment for his crimes.
EDIT: For those who still can't accept that Bush has committed actions that are crimes under federal law, try reading the Supreme Court case of Hamdan v. Rumsfeld (link below), where the Supreme Court determined that Bush intentionally violated 18 USC 2441 (the federal war crime statute).
The Supreme Court determined he committed the crime.
What more could people possible want?

If they can impeach Clinton for doodling a consenting adult and then lying about it (what a normal reaction!) then of course we can impeach Bush for lying about WMDs and a non existant war on terrorism that is really a civil war related to oil wealth. Clinton's escapade didn't kill or maim or behead or bomb anybody. Look at what is happening throughout the Mid East right now.

He don't have that much longer left in office, the time has past, we should have impeached him years ago, or at the very least, not elected him for a 2nd term.

Way past time, it should have been done in the repuglican congress as soon as they learned that they were lied to for the reasons to take the United states to war. Investigations should had been conducted when it was found out that Haliburton got billion dollar no bid contracts. So many things that Bush has done since he was appointed president up to and including his failure to uphold his oath of office. I am afraid it is to late, but it is time for the democrats to stand up to him a demand that white house staff offer testimony under oath..

What lie? I haven't heard any. Not following YOUR prefered policy is NOT an impeachable offense.
