sorry i have a xbox 360 but i would choose god of war or god of war 2 it looks like a pretty cool game

I absolutely LOVED Final Fantasy X-2 (i thought i loved FFX until FFX-2 came out)
i also really enjoyed Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 and right now im saving to buy Chain of Memories and whatever portable thing plays it. lol.
if you want something easy (turn based) i would recommend InuYasha and the Secret of the Cursed Mask.
I also thoroughly enjoyed the DaVinci code. with all the puzzles but you get to kick peoples butts too. (im also a fan of the book and movie)
The Sims games for the ps2 can be fun, but once you beat them they get really lame and also if you dont have the cheat codes and your sim gets all depressed you might as well just start over. so it depends on how much patience you have and if you like that sort of game.

Okami.
It's a great game that provided me many hours of entertainment. 66hrs 36min 57 sec, to be exact. (They show the total at the end.)
You can beat it in half that if you don't try to do everything in the game.
It's an adventure game in which you play as Okami Amaterasu. You're a wolf-shaped goddess & have a small companion named Issun. You forgot all your godly powers though. As you relearn them, you can use a paintbrush on the world to use them.
