We use Euro, just like the rest of the country (The Netherlands).

they use australian dollars, bring as many as you can find because the ducth are like the pennsylvania dutch, they dont have electricity. Did you know they have to burn herbs to stay warm and keep the streets lit at night.

also bring a bunch of your aussie money to Maastricht, and Nijmegen its worth double there on Tuesdays, and they love to be told what a lovely part of Holland they are in.
