I left college and started working but now I would like to pursue my degree. Are there any drawbacks in taking up a top up program? will there by any problems in getting a job

Honestly, all of that depends on what you want to do with your degree. For whatever it's worth, I went to an adult degree completion program (think it's similar to what you're talking about). These programs (if done right) are great because they are geared toward adult learners, assume you already know a little something, are usually with people around your own age, and work with your work schedule. I graduated with a BA and was accepted into an MA program. I will graduate with that degree this spring. For me it was definitely worth it. I did not enjoy my prior job anymore and this is opening some great doors for me - lots of opportunities ahead. I suggest you weigh the risks, talk to some people who have completed the particular program you are looking into and then make a decision on what you want. If you're sure you want to get your degree, shop around a bit for the program. Some are better than others. Good luck!

I'm not familiar with the term "Top Up". But I did go back to college after being out for 20 year. For me, it was the best thing I've ever done. I would recommend that anyone go back and finish.

From what I've read, the more education one has, the more money they will make.
