I used to babysit for a friend of mine. I would always stay the night and sleep on the living room couch. The kitchen was only like 3 feet away and that's where she had her clothes dryer. I used to turn it on when trying to fall asleep even if there were no clothes in it. Weird but true.

A fan always helps in the summer, not only because it keeps you cool but the noise is soothing. Music is good, too, but movies always keep me awake, because my mind becomes intrigued by the voices, and I begin to wonder what conversation is being held on screen and what actions might be ensuing.

Wow, I really like peace and quiet, but I always have my ceiling fan on but not for the sounds for the air.
