My first boyfriend called a year after we broke up to tell me that he was HIV positive. Although we had always practiced safe sex, I was a bit apprehensive about getting tested, but I did get tested and tested negative.
I didn't get HIV by always practicing safe sex 100% of the time. Although safe sex isn't 100% effective, it was effective in my case.

I don't have and thank God for that. HIV is so real and as irresponsible as i was as a teenager I'm just so blessed to not be infected

No, I don't. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, and I hope we can find a cure. In the meantime- condoms, dental dams, latex gloves, no needle sharing, and a good, healthy dose of common sense, everyone!

My brother got it from a blood transfusion back in 81.He is dead now thank you for reminding me of his worthless death.He was a Vietnam Vet.He served 4 terms their and spent the last one in a P.O.W.kamp.He was a Moreen to the end.
