Great satire. Probably essentially the most (if now not the one) shrewd rhetorical query I've noticeable from an atheist in years. If you seem at atheism because the breakdown of shared revel in and typical values, existence is inherently empty, solitary, and without legit which means and wholesomeness. It's visible from the extent of bitterness on those threads that atheism does now not traditionally produce moral, ethical, or rational contributors. Nor does atheism appear to furnish its adherents with a way of religious holism. An atheist who desires the pursuits that religion seeks to creates, can come to a decision to be humanist (or comparable organization) or permit the pursuits of the state dictate his habits in a process that effectively displays faith albeit with out the Christian God.
