Has anyone ever typed in one letter for an answer and then go back and edit it so you can be the first to answer?........ I must admit I've done it a few times

I haven't I've gone back but it's to correct some spelling. And I only go back to correct if I think I might be misunderstood.

no.. but is that how people keep beating me out? Cuz I go to answer a question... even a quick NO; and boom there are 15 people in front of me... or I could just be extra SLOW.....hmmm

No. I do not find that being the first to answer is that important.
