I found a spider in my bathroom earlier this evening and I can't get a good picture of it with my camera because it is so small. It looks like it is part of the widow family, although I don't see an hourglass marking it could be a Red-Back. Any suggestions?

Many times you can contact a 4-H Extension Office, a zoo, museum or wildlife official in your area, they will know how to identify it .

Try to catch it in a glass jar (poke holes in it for goodness sake!). Call your local humane society and see if they know who in your area identifies species of spiders. Most of them will tell you what it is for free if you take the critter to them. Worse case scenario- call an exterminator.
